Thing #3

To be fair, before this, I was never really a fan of blogs. I think it was because I had never used one and didn't know what it was all about. Now that I've made one for myself, I see that it's a pretty cool way to share information with other people or just let people know what's going on in the world. I would definitely use a blog for my classroom that would be accessible by both parents and my students. I want them to know what's going on at all times in case they were to miss school one day. I would also use it as a means of communication between other teachers. It would allow the other teachers in my grade level to share lesson ideas and plans.

    I totally relate to the fact that you were never a fan of blogs. I never knew what good they could possibly have until we got this assignment! :)

    I didn't think about using a blog to share other things with different teachers. I really love that idea!

    I agree with all of the above. I like the idea of updating so the kids/parents can be sure they have the assignments if they missed class.
